When I decided to go to college in Portugal, I never expected to fall in love with the country and stay there. I knew that I would enjoy my college years there, but I met a guy. School was amazing, but he turned out to be my everything. We both graduated, and I got a job at a magazine there. I worked my way up within a few years, and I was soon one of the lower level editors. I was able to maintain this job by using plagiarism check software for Portuguese.
I knew Portuguese pretty well as I had studied it for years before even going to Portugal for school. I was able to read reader submission articles and know whether any of them were good enough to be published in our magazine. What I did not know though was if any of it was plagiarized. I wish that no one would submit articles that were not 100 percent original, but I found out in my work that it was a pipe dream. Even some people who felt they were not copying someone else’s work often did, which is why I needed to find a good software program that would help me to identify if someone was indeed copying from someone else.
I looked at a few different software programs, but none impressed me as much as the website that I started using the moment I found it. The website that I use searched trillions of website pages to see if there is even a hint of something getting copied and passed off as an original. I was impressed when it caught a few things that I really tried to sneak past it, and that is how I knew that this was the right software program to use. It has helped me to up my own game too!
